Trial lesson checklist for parents

Questions to ask before, during, and after your child's first session with a new tutor.

Before: confirm level, textbook used in school, and your child's main struggle (confidence, speed, careless mistakes).

During: note whether the tutor checks understanding or only lectures. Does your child get to try questions?

After: read the lesson report within 24 hours. If homework and next steps are clear, that's a good sign to book again.
